Re: Input wanted to EV study
Absolutely! the Megane E-Tech NOT being an SUV was probably the biggest single thing which led me to choosing it! Thankfully, some more decent range non SUVs are upcoming; the ID2, the new Mini and of course the Renault 5. What is this obsession with SUVs? I tried the Skoda Enyaq; lovely interior, v...

Re: EV Charging Apps
As above, I've never used a charging app. I look at Zap-Map for charger locations but the car's Sat Nav will show chargers too. Have always just paid by contactless payment. Last I heard, Tesla have opened some, but not all, their sites to non Teslas. You need a Tesla app. to use their chargers and ...

Re: Anyone actually like their car
Have had mine 6 months. My first electric car and I had some doubts at first but love it now. It has it's moments (sound locking up at full volume on stereo a couple of times, lost connection to the app. once and have a fight with my Zappi charger sometimes - seems to be an issue with this car and t...

Re: Specs for 20" space saver.
Hi Phorridge, sorry, can't help with your question but if you find a suitable wheel, could you post the details and a link to the supplier if possible. Thanks

Re: Eco Mode for heating?
Thanks for the reply. I had already tried removing the charging cable so will keep searching for the source of the rattle (it sounds like the car rather than anything I'm carrying).

Eco Mode for heating?
Having a scout through the menus and I have a few questions! 1 - I have Eco (driving) Mode on but within Eco Mode I have not set up the heating to be in Eco Mode (changes the "efficiency" rating from 85% to 100% if I click on it). Could somebody tell me what happens to the heating if the h...

Re: Regenerative braking "drag" on accelerator?
Thanks for the replies. I could understand the predicted range increasing (bottom left of the dashboard where the remaining battery percentage is shown) but was concerned by the change of feel in the accelerator and the immediate increase in miles per kwh being achieved (as shown by the display on t...

Regenerative braking "drag" on accelerator?
When I increase the regen braking (usually from 1 to 2) there is a very noticeable impact on the throttle pedal. It feels like it has tightened up, for want of a better description, and needs more pressure to get the same result. The indicated miles I am getting per kwh increases immediately (even t...
