Re: Battery Charge 15%-80% (Recommended)
Load of rubbish. If that was a rule it would be enforced and they would have to state the maximum capacity and mileage as less than they do. They can't say you can drive X miles on a charge if that charge is 100%-0% As they are warranting the battery why would we worry about protecting their battery...

Re: Specs for 20" space saver.
The jacking point is just a reinforced section of the sill. I jacked it on that to test it. Seemed ok.

Yes mine are around 2.6 bar all round. Sometimes drops to 2.5 or can go as high as 2.7 no issues or nags.

Re: Android auto, what is it good for?
I tend to use just the car built in apps as the Android auto only works if I plugin via USB cable. It won't connect otherwise.
Its kind of neat and brings a limited set of phone funtions to the car display. But never found it useful enough to bother plugin the cable in and out.

Re: Ignition plus (continuous current) on the Megane
If it works it would be really useful. We were stranded in our Megane for over 9 hours and had to keep turning the ignition back on to keep the heater working.

Re: Regen braking
The previous regen effect was strong and I loved it. in traffic the throttle was all you needed. Now with full regen if I lift off the throttle it will keep rolling forward towards the car in front. I now have to brake to stop. Driving with low regen is like driving a std auto car. So lack of engine...

Re: Regen braking
Easy software fix it maybe but Renaults attitude seems to be they have your money and don't really care. We aren't happy that the latest Renault imposed software update (done at the last service) has dramatically reduced the regen effect. They aren't interested that they have effected the car so bad...

Re: EV Charging Apps
I have a selection of EV charging apps. I've often found the rapid chargers fail to authenticate my debit or credit cards but I can start and pay for a charge using the app.

Re: Horn
No pics I'm afraid. I removed the connector assembly off the original horn. Cut it back so I could solder wires to the back of the socket. Wires then go to spade connectors to the new horn. This allowed me to leave the original Renault horn connector as it was. (but it did mean the original horn is ...
