I'd advice against resting a foot on the brake while accelerating. The brake peddle is moved by the computer to control regen and braking and foot pressure may well interfere with that.

OK I've dug a bit deeper. I installed an app called APKpure on my mobile. This allows you to download and install older versions of apps. They have the MyRenault app versions going way back. Current version is 6.0.6 I tried 6.0.2 and still no good. Even tried V 5.10.4 the last of the old look versio...

Noticed that since the app upgrade the app shows the car preconditioning all the time.
My wife and me have the app on our phones and its the same on both.
Tried uninstalling and re-installing on the [hones but no different.

So I can't start a precondition the app thinks its running all the time.

Looks like we may take out their fixed price service plan and pay up front. At least that fixes costs for a few years.

So my Renault is nearly 2 years old. It's done nearly 30K miles. Service is due. A service (£185) includes the cabin filter. But I see they list an active carbon cabin filter as an additional £63 so I'm guessing the A service gets you a normal cabin filter and for £63 extra they fit an active carbon...

My Megane has been doing this intermittently.

Today I got a lighting warning.
Yellow spanner and yellow low beam light with adjustment arrow showing.
The green dipped headlamp flashed.
No headlight functions at all.
Tried turning off and back on a few times but no joy.
Left it an hour and now it works ok.

the key missing update for me is setting the battery charge level. Its daft this has to be done in car.

I'm on Android and the app last updated in July. Not seeing the additional features. Checked play store no update available
the app is Version 5.10.5
