It's more that regen will rob you of speed if you don't pay close attention, and it takes more energy to recover that speed again. Use high regen in stop start town driving and coast on the motorway. I think in both cars the AC will turn itself off when not needed. I tend to drive my Mégane with the fan on 1 and AC off unless it mists up on a wet day. Don't get enough hot days in Scotland to need it for cooling

Yes this is disappointing. I have no use for V2G (I have solar panels and a home battery) but have used 22kW AC charging almost as much as DC.

22kW is a €1500 option in France
