Has anyone got advice on which home charger I should get for my Megane ETech?

Pays your money takes your choice.
I've a Zappi. There is a known issue which Renault are meant to be addressing with timed charging. Check myenergi forum for full details but in short it looks as if Renault's interpretation of the charging standard causes intermittant timed charge failures & instant on occation as well. Renault have accepted it's their issue and not the Zappi.

I have my Zappi mounted on a stand as I had the house externally insulated. It's a nice looking charger with a very nice app as well.

Once Renault sort their software it will be the dogs.

I have a Rolec wall box smart charge which works a treat. Charged my Zoe with very few issues not a single issue with my Cupra Born and seems to charge the megane as well. You can program the app with the electricity supplier tariff so it will smart charge. For me I’m with EDF so get off peak from 9 pm to 7 am which is great if you need to charge from nearly empty.

I’ve had guests with Polestar and Tesla use it too. The app allows a boost function if you need to charge sooner and you have to turn off the scheduled charge in the renault.

Highly recommend this option

I had two options at my disposal, Easee or Ohme.
I've just ordered an Ohme Home Pro on the advice given by my Energy Supplier. Easee even admitted they aren't compatible with them.

I have PodPoint and use Renault app scheduling. It has worked 100% using Octopus Go and no problem on any public chargers so far.
