When I got into my Megane Etech yesterday, a loud buzzing started. It reminds me of the sound you used to get when you fixed a lollipop stick against the wheel of your bicycle. Anyway, it became clear that it was emanating from the heating & ventilation system. When I got home a few minutes later, the buzzing stopped when I got out of the car. This afternoon, the next time I was going to use the car, the buzzing started as soon as the keycard was within range even before I opened the door. The car started OK and is running fine but the buzzing continues. When I got out of the car and out of 'key range', the buzzing continued for a few more minutes before stopping.
I have called my dealer. The earliest they can book me in is Friday 22nd. In the meantime, have any of you got any thoughts on this? The car is a 21 plate first registerd August 2023.

Thanks for the info. Seems to be the same issue. I will raise these points with my dealer. I also plan to switch on the recirculation mode later today to find out if that has any effect. Another thought I had overnight was that there might be leaves in the 'gutter' below the wipers. The car is parked on my drive below a large tree and I have had to clear a large amount of Autumn leaves a few times recently.
So, earlier on, I got back in the car. The buzzing commenced again. I pressed the recirculation button and the buzzing ceased. It did turn off after a few minutes and the noise started again. So, I spent the short journey repeating this exercise. I have now passed this information on to the dealer. Hopefully, this will allow the service department to deal with the problem quickly and efficiently.
Thanks again for your input.

Does this sound likes its coming from under the bonnet, and when inside the car from under the dash. If so it could be similar to my post, heater blend motor. Mine got to the point where it would start as soon as key was in range to unlock the doors. Then constantly even without powering the car to On.
So, having obtained the relevant part, my dealer took the car in this morning and returned it to me a couple of hours later. The matter has been resolved and the buzzing has stopped. There was no charge as it was under warranty. On my service report, it states that the part replaced was 'the temperature mixture flap stepper motor'.
