So my Renault is nearly 2 years old. It's done nearly 30K miles.
Service is due.
A service (£185) includes the cabin filter. But I see they list an active carbon cabin filter as an additional £63 so I'm guessing the A service gets you a normal cabin filter and for £63 extra they fit an active carbon one?

Also ours is due to B service (an additional (£140) this is listed as:

B Service Z.E.
£140
Applies to vehicles on an A & B Service regime. The B service is the oil and filter change. This service also inlcudes a number of key checks such as interior and exterior lights, screen wash fluid levels and the wear on the brake pads and discs. You may also require additional maintenance items depending on the age/mileage of your vehicle.

So what am I getting for my £140 as I have no Engine?

£225 plus VAT I guess seems steep.

Yes seems rip off, I had my ICONIC serviced at 3000 miles apart from new cabin filter ticked a few boxes, nothing else, no battery or electrical report!! Just says all good

Good luck at getting your local dealer to adhere to these prices though.
I tried 3 main dealers near me.
The two Evan’s Halshaw garages gave much higher prices for the 4th year service which includes the 12v battery replacement. They also wouldn’t offer a service plan for my 2022 vehicle.
Tried Lookers Renault, they gave me a two year service plan for the 3rd an 4th year service for £16 per month.
This works out nearly half the price of the two services it covers.
I questioned this and they said yes, it’s really good value.
Let’s hope they don’t try and squirm out of it when it actually comes to the services.

Looks like we may take out their fixed price service plan and pay up front. At least that fixes costs for a few years.
