Hi everyone, I’ve got myself a Techno+ model, had it for a couple of weeks now, really enjoying it.
When I’m using the adaptive cruise control, I can use the speed sign recognition, click the button on the steering wheel and it changes the cruise speed, no problem.
I went down the YouTube rabbit hole on the car and found official Renault support videos. One of them shows extra settings for cruise control that I don’t have. Under vehicle > traffic sign/regulation, in the video it shows settings for auto speed sign adapt. In my techno+ I don’t have these, only speed sign offset

The model shown is an EU one as it has the portrait media screen, anyone noticed this? Maybe only the iconic spec gets these functions?
Traffic sign recognition - no auto select option?
I’ve an Iconic Spec and don’t have those features. There on European spec cars only up to now. The new Model year Megane in the UK now comes fitted with the bigger infotainment screen and also upgraded Adaptive cruise control which I believe now has the feature you have shown here.

I logged it with Renault support to see what they say. You both may be right, maybe EU only and/or not legal in UK (yet)
In Denmark the MY24 Techno (with the premium assist package) has this offset option, which is pure genius IMO.
I just got my Techno MY25 last week and yes, sadly, the offset option has disappeared .
At least I can't find it. I called the dealer, but they haven't had much experience with MY25 yet. They promised to look out for it. They didn't know the reason why the offset option disappeared either. They said they couldnt recalibrate the speedometer to show the actual speed, which of course is the correct long-term solution. If someone has experience with this (via the OBDE interface), I'll be very interested.
I dont think the offset option is a legal issue, as the speedometer calibration has not been changed from the oiginal factoy setting. But I havent looked into it.

I have a MY25 model and this was initially available, but now I can't find it. I assume the car's had an update and it's been removed for some reason. Very strange!
