Hi All, I was having issues with the cabin preconditioning being stuck on in the app just like you. Signed up as I have a potential solution that worked for me today.
I set an Air Condition management schedule to run essentially immediately. Now I will say i’m not sure if this actually activated the preconditioning (I should have checked the car) but it did deactivate the always on preconditioning. It has now allowed me to activate preconditioning which I have and it is running now.
I will let you know if this works as expected on the app after finishing, my assumption is it wont but scheduling a preconditioning is a work around it seems.
Preconditioning via app
What I've found works is going out to the car and pushing the power button without the brake pedal (a sort of ignition-on mode) then waiting for it to connect to the network, e.g. by going to the update page and waiting for Check for Update to become available. The API then indicates the data is fresh, and commands to the car work.
In short, it seems to be going into some kind of sleep mode where it disconnects from the network. It makes some sense that having a schedule wake it up would reconnect it again.

I'm on iOS 18.1.1 and twice I have preconditioned with no issues.
Could it be an Android thing?
