The new Renault MéganE E-Tech Electric confirms a style faithful to that of the eVision study, promising first-class roominess, despite a small footprint similar to the Captur SUV. Being around 4.20 m long , it will reduce its length by a good fifteen centimeters compared to the normal Mégane hatchback (thermal and hybrid), which will continue its career in parallel . But the optimisation of its architecture, inherent in its status of pure electric, will make it benefit from a generous wheelbase.
Proportions are also largely shared with Alliance partner Nissan's new Ariya SUV, with which the Mégane shares its CMF-EV platform and powertrain, though Renault's SUV has a straighter roof line and less aggressive design cues.
