Anybody had this problem yet: Got a stone chip on windscreen about a week ago which very quickly turned into a crack which required the windscreen to be replaced.

Got this sorted with Autoglass a few days ago which was great, until it came to calibrating the front camera. Turns out Renault have not provided Autoglass with the necessary access codes to allow them to calibrate the camera - so they sent us away with a new windscreen and no camera. We were provided with a letter and instructions to contact Renault to get them to do it.

Just got hold of Renault today to book that in and was told that it would cost me £350 to do it. When I explained that I was only there because they had prevented Autoglass from doing it they suggested that we get Autoglass to pay the £350

Anyone else had this issue? Any thoughts on resolving the problem.

I'd contact Renault Customer Services and send them a copy of the letter from Autoglass. I would also contact Autoglass UK and confirm what you have been told my your local Autoglass rep.
£350 for calibration is crazy. I personally wouldn't pay as the Windscreen Excess should cover everything.
Did on my vehicle which needed the above.
