So why is this simple press button called "multi sense"?
It doesn't seem to do anything multi at all.
It just toggles through the drive modes?
Was it designed to be more featured but yet again the UK versions are just a simple button?

Multisense was also on previous Renault's, it was called that because it changed the drive mode.
Ambient colours
Dials in some modes (adds g force in sport)
On previous cars it also changed engine sound

Bit of an over egged feature and button

Looks like you'd expect it to be something impressive and yet it's just a button.

What did you think it was going to do?

It's a gimmick name because it changes the car physically (steering etc)
visually ( colour and extra dials in sport mode) and it did originally change engine sound. Therefore it had an affect on several senses

Maybe call it driving mode?
It's just it's such a dominant control but so simple on operation and not even that sensible.
You have to press and then watch for the desired mode to pop up
A rotary control that let you select the desired mode directly would be better. Or the ability to define what that first press does.

Of course it does more than toggle drive modes. It influence:
– steering force;
– electronic stability program;
– engine responsiveness;
– the lighting in the passenger compartment and of the instrument panel;
– the presentation of the instrument panel and the multimedia screen;
– depending on the vehicle, the driving position.
