Just thought I’d check in to see what news there was and it appears no one likes their cars. Lots of posts about faults likes and dislikes issues etc etc

How about some nice upbeat posts of people with their cars being happy enjoying the car ? Is that possible. :D

Can’t comment at the moment as still waiting for mine.
The wait begins 😭

I'm Brussels, and this seems like a UK-oriented forum. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoy the Megane E-Tech -- even though it has electric-car foibles (charging times, variable estimates, etc). But nothing negative I have to report that is peculiar to this model. I think Renault did great, and I'm satisfied with my first six months (several trips to Netherlands, France, and around Belgium no problems).

Good to here some positivity as I am awaiting delivery myself.

Have had mine 6 months. My first electric car and I had some doubts at first but love it now.

It has it's moments (sound locking up at full volume on stereo a couple of times, lost connection to the app. once and have a fight with my Zappi charger sometimes - seems to be an issue with this car and this charger). A quick restart fixed the volume issue and plugging my 'phone in to the USB connector sorted the app.

Overall I'm very pleased now. I am seeing 240 or so range most of the time and even did one 30 odd mile journey where the equivalent range would have been over 330! I think most cars have some issues (I've had 11 cars from new and most have had the odd minor, and sometimes not so minor, issue). I suspect people are more likely to post here if they have an issue (for some advice or just a good moan!) than they are to post saying everything is going fine!

Had our flame red with shadow grey roof Techno a week. Love it. Strange foible today in blazing sunshine about checking automatic lighting fault, but thinking this is just a case of it is too warm for it to work so it’s disabled itself. Will check it later tonight and book it in with my dealer if necessary.
Love the car, features are easily to hand, love the “gear” shifter and boot space.
Very happy with it. Easily the best car I’ve ever driven (been used to FIATs for a long time and the test drives of the Megane were superior in every way to the MG4 and it’s lethal brakes.

I’ve had mine for 3 days now and quite enjoying it. I would say its range is not quite as good as the Born yet but sitting around the 4 to 4.2 mpkwh which would suggest 240 ish range.

Yes the alarm is going off but if you disable the auto lock and use the remote it’s fine. Hold lock button for 5 seconds to deactivate ultrasonics. Going back in next week for the solution.

Drives well loving the adaptive cruise with lane centering and speed recognition interesting how it steers round bends for you.

Puppy loves it too !!

I have threatened the wife if she kerbs my alloys she’s for it !

The deal on it too was fantastic maybe just right place at right time but i think it’s the best deal on any Ev around just now

Love the car. Did a 145 mile journey recently B roads and motorway. Started at 100% and arrived with 44% remaining. Very happy so far. Only thing I would say is brake is a bit grabby
