I have experienced something similar since I got the car.

Does the audio control stalk also not work when it happens?

Can you change driving mode via the infotainment screen?

Does resetting the infotainment screen with a long press of the power icon make it work again.

I experienced it with a significant delay in button press response (I would press the multisense button and 3 minutes or so later, it would respond). It seems it’s may be a software glitch, but mine is now a major issue.

I’ve posted elsewhere in the technical faults section about the software thinking my traction battery has 0% an hour after charging it to 79% (see below link). I’m still waiting to hear what the issue is and I’ve been without my Megane for a week already.

I guess my system is either corrupt or the computer is failing, so I’d keep a close eye on it and if you can, take it back to the dealership and insist that they do diagnostics and reinstall software if necessary. I’d hate for anyone to get the same experience as me.
