Glad to know it’s not just me, exact same thing on mine
I am in Dumfries, Scotland. My Megane E-Tech went 'offline' yesterday, 16th August. I have asked Google assistant to 'turn on radio' a few times but the reply is still 'I am offline, try later'. I called my local dealer but the person I spoke to was not aware of the problem. If it persists, I will take the car into the dealer on Monday. The app isn't registering new charging sessions either. I have had the car a month now and I am otherwise very happy with it. I have just joined the forum so 'Hi everyone!'.
The whole of Europe is impacted by this issue with the Orange mobile network, likely beyond the control of Renault.
Our own Megane is also offline with an x next to the small icon at the top of the screen. Digging behind the connectivity options it shows it’s unable to communicate on the cellular network, back to the Renault server.
We had a new 2024 Renault Captur on extended test drive yesterday and again all connected services were completely unavailable. Our Megane on the Myrenault app still shows the charge level from Wednesday, but hasn’t shifted to reflect as we’ve used the car, as it can’t communicate.
Google services, Speed sign recogntion and being able to remotely check your charge levels are also impacted.
European forums and U.K. facebook pages have many posts from Renault owners as these services continue to be down.
Given the impact of the issue, it’s quite likely the issue will be resolved soon, as the issue started later on Wednesday 14th August.
There would be nothing a Renault dealer could do to assist further. Renault should really communicate this outage more widely, but your best bet is just to await a resolution.
If you run this page below through Google translate or similar, you’ll see lots of discussion and some links to further discussion that the whole Orange network for users roaming (and for Renault vehicles), is unavailable at present:

Well, Renault could make the car willing to communicate via Wi-Fi. My car is currently charging in the garage, connected to my Wi-Fi, yet I can't use the Renault app to start the preconditioning or see the charge level. That's a bummer.

As of an hour ago, my car was showing as connected, the app is still not updating correctly though.
I connect my car via hotspot on my phone, Google services have been working fine for me the whole time, I was just missing connectivity back to the app

My car still shows as disconnected. I guess Orange and Renault are working on it.prettyvacant511 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 6:27 pm As of an hour ago, my car was showing as connected, the app is still not updating correctly though.
I really wonder if it is/was a major cyber attack, just some clumsy network configuration, or something else...
