I'm very pleased with my showroom Megane E-tech 2023 model that I picked up 2 months ago.
I have been an occasional driver the last 15 years, driving around 2 or 3 times a year in different countries and different hire cars, usually manuals - and never an electric.
So I had quite a few questions, many of which I've worked out.
However, my car has recently starting doing something I don't like: when I take the foot off the brake it moves forwards; same thing if the car is in reverse - it starts to move backwards. This means I have to hop on and off the brake permanently - which I really dislike.
It didn't always do this.
Is there a feature or something I need to switch on or off to get back to the usual behaviour (car moves only when accelerator pressed)?
